Khulna City Medical College (KCMC) is located pivotal place and pleasant environment of the Khulna city. The College is a six storied building. All the administrative and academic activities are going on here. This is a very spacious building with modern structural design. All the modern facilities of an ideal medical educational institute are available here. The outlook of the college building is very beautiful. There are adequate number or teachers and other staffs in this college. At present the college has capacity of teaching about 50 students per year.The College campus is situated in the core of the city just in front of Hotel Royal International and adjacent to Hotel Castle Salam with lot of open space where one can breathe fresh air.
The College has three spacious Galleries with an accommodation of 110 students in each gallery. They are air-conditioned and well equipped with latest multimedia sound system, PA system, Computers and other audiovisual aids.
We have 08 tutorials rooms, 04 laboratories, 03 practical rooms, 04 museum at present with comfortable seating arrangement. The college have 02 student’s common room, 01 teacher’s common room & 01 auditorium also.
We have own cafeteria with a range of food items, which is essentially balanced, nutritious, healthy and subsidized.
The college have Bangabandhu corner with significant historical documents, books and photographs on freedom fight.
The library is spacious enough to accommodate ample reading space for present and future students. The library contains huge number of text & reference books, local & foreign medical Journals, news papers, rare periodicals & research works etc. The library has wireless internet connectivity with HINARI access. The IT corner is equipped with 6 computers. A separate corner for the teachers is also available in the library.
There are 2 separate hostels for boys & girls with required facilities. Seats are allotted on the basis of application from students. Student must maintain discipline and academic environment in the hostel.
